I graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2023 and am based in Grand Rapids.

I grew up 20 minutes outside of Flint and learned about the water crisis and its lasting fallout through the Flint Journal and friends of friends. After falling down a Watergate rabbit hole in high school, my respect for the free press evolved into a vision for my future.

I am inspired to report on the impact of local nonprofits and opportunitities available through them.

I have previous work at The Eastern Echo newspaper designing the weekly print. Before that I manned a camera and audio station for Eastern Michigan Athletics for basketball, volleyball and gymnastics.
